About the Author

Dr. Chuck Bamford is the Managing Partner of Bamford Associates, a firm focused on the development of implementable strategic plans and entrepreneurial growth.

Chuck is also the author of two of the top strategy and entrepreneurship textbooks used in undergraduate and graduate programs around the world.

He serves as an Adjunct Professor of Strategy at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He has been a Professor at the University of Richmond, Texas Christian University, The University of Notre Dame and Tulane University among others. Over the past 25 years he has been honored with 22 Professor of the Year awards.

Chuck earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, his MBA at Virginia Tech and a Ph.D. at the University of Tennessee.

And, interesting fact – his father commanded a US Navy ship in World War II.
